The Línea Abierta service of CaixaBank complies with the requisites laid down for banking secrecy and guarantees, as do all the services of this entity, compliance with Organic Act 15/1999 (December 13) on Personal Data Protection (LOPD), in relation to confidentiality and security in the storage and processing of personal data in its computer systems.
Access to the Línea Abierta service is by means of a user identifier and a numerical access key with 4 positions (PIN1). Once validated, these allow the holder access to the operations for consultation purposes.
In addition, if you wish to increase your security in accessing Línea Abierta, we offer you the possibility of complementing identification with a digital certificate. To authorise operations that involve movements of funds, the user must introduce a second key (PIN2) or use the Línea Abierta Card. Línea Abierta Card.
The connection data (identifier + PIN1) are personal and non-transferable. The user will be responsible for all the actions performed with his/her identifier. To guarantee security, you must keep these data confidential. If you want another person to access Línea Abierta with his/her own data or the company ones, you will need to get your branch to give this person access with his/her own connection data.
All the information exchanged between the computer of the Línea Abierta customer and the computer systems of CaixaBank is subjected to a coding process that prevents unauthorised third parties from gaining access to the information or intercepting any customer-entity communications.
This coding is based on the standard SSL-V.3 protocol and uses 128-bit encrypted session keys.
In order to guarantee maximum security levels, the systems serving Línea Abierta are monitored and are regularly reviewed and updated.
