ISO Certification

CaixaBank is the first European company that has obtained the certificate ISO 27001:2005 regarding the safety and security of web services, managed by a team of response prevention and resolution of incidents.

This certificate grants CaixaBank one of the highest levels in management of service security offered over the Internet.

CaixaBank obtained this certificate having passed positively the mandatory audit carried out by the British Standard Institute (BSI), in a process that, as is logical, revises all the security proceedings of the incident response team.

The certificate signifies a further commitment to security, quality and revision of our security systems, our clients’ services and the company itself. Because of this, the ISO 27001 requires continuous improvement in the system, with periodic revisions, to maintain the level demanded.
