  • What are the advantages of becoming a customer online?

    New customers who direct deposit their paycheck into their CaixaBank account will have:

    • A current account.
    • Access to CaixaBankNow digital banking, CaixaBank's online banking service.
    • A network of over 9,500 ATMs for customers to take out cash using the cards marketed by CaixaBank.
  • What do I need to sign up?

    To sign up, you will need:

    • A good internet connection.
    • Your personal details: name, address, etc.
    • Your documentation.
      • If you are a Spanish citizen, have your DNI ready.
      • If you are not a Spanish citizen and you are a resident of Spain:
        • If you are a citizen of a European Union or Schengen country, have your country's identity document or passport and the European Union residence certificate at hand.
        • If you are not an EU citizen, you must have an NIE..
    • If you are self-employed, have ready:
    • Tax form 036/037.
    • One of the following documents: 

    - Annual VAT summary (form 390)
    - Personal Income Tax return (Form 100/130)
    - Evidence of turnover through Value Added Tax (form 303)

  • I don't have images of my ID right now

    If the device you are going to use for your application has a camera, you can photograph them with your device during the process.

    If, however, your device does not allow you to take pictures, you can capture an image of your identity document through an external means such as a photo camera, smartphone or scanner, and save it on your computer to complete this application form.

  • I'm having problems validating my ID

    If you are going to validate your identity document using the video process:

    • Make sure you are in a well-lit place and have a good connection.
    • Follow the instructions carefully:
    1. Show the front of your document.
    2. Tilt and move the front so that the security features are visible.
    3. Show the back of your document.
    4. Say out loud the code that will be shown on the screen.
    5. Smile for the camera!

    If you are trying to upload an image of your identity document, consult the recommendations for uploading the image to make sure that we can validate your documentation.

  • I've completed the form but haven't received an email

    If you completed the form less than 48 hours ago, you will receive an email informing you of the next steps.

    If it was over 48 hours ago and we haven't contacted you yet:

    • Check your spam folder
    • Call us on 900 300 900 to confirm that the email you provided in the application is correct.
  • How can I login to CaixaBankNow digital banking?

    • Once the registration process is complete, you will receive the CaixaBankNow digital banking login identifier via email. To log into CaixaBankNow, you will have to enter:
      • Identification: your DNI without the letter.
      • PIN: the password you chose during the registration process.

    • If you don't remember your password (PIN), please go to any of our branches to receive a new one.
    • In order to sign all the transactions you make using CaixaBankNow, you will have to download the CaixaBank Sign app.Log in with the same credentials you use for CaixaBankNow.

  • And if I go to a branch one day, what else can I do?

    If you identify yourself with your DNI in a CaixaBank branch, you will also be able to do the following operations that you can't right now for security reasons:

    • Deposit over €600 a month in cash at an ATM using your card
    • Deposit over €1000 a year in cash at an ATM without using your card
    • Make domestic or international transfers in non-euro currencies
