If your child still doesn't have an account with the bank, you have two options for opening one for them:

• Digital: Through the “Accounts” section on your CaixaBankNow app.
• In person: By going to your nearest CaixaBank branch and asking to open an imaginTeens account. Your child doesn't have to be there, but you will need to provide the appropriate documentation to verify your identity and prove that you are their legal representative.

If your son or daughter already has an account with the bank but does not have access to the imaginTeens app, you can give them access through the CaixaBankNow app, specifically in the Kids&Teens section.

The documentation to be provided will depend on the application channel:

• Digital: Only an ID document of the child will be required, which must be valid at the time of registration.
• Branch: The child does not need to be present, however, two documents do have to be provided:
  • Child's identity document
    • 12 and 13 years: Both the ID document and document K (provisional NIF) can be provided if the minor does not yet have a national ID.
    • From 14 years of age: The national ID must be provided.
  • Family book or similar document that justifies the relationship of the minor with his/her legal representatives.

If your child already has access to their imaginTeens app, they can request Bizum activation from the "Payments" section of the app. You can easily accept their application from your CaixaBankNow app.

If your child does not yet have access to the imaginTeens app, you will need to give them access beforehand. You can do this directly from the Kids&Teens section of your CaixaBankNow app (if you already have an account) or by visiting a CaixaBank branch (if they don't yet have an account).

On the other hand, your child can manage and control their own money from imaginTeens, an app specially created for children with features adapted to their age.

Nothing! Both the account and your child's cards will be completely free of charge, with no issue or maintenance fees. In addition, these conditions will not change upon reaching the age of 18.

Of course! To do so, all you have to do is ask for your digital banking contract to be registered at the same branch where you open your child's account. This way you will have access to CaixaBankNow and you will be able to track their transactions and products without having to take out any additional products.

Yes, but you have to realise that in that case, your child won't have access to the imaginTeens app. If you want them to be able to access it, we will need to know their number. If your child does not have a mobile phone when their account is opened, you can provide this information later by going to a CaixaBank branch. Under no circumstances will we use this information for commercial purposes.

Your child will be able to view the account you give them access to on imaginTeens. If they already have an account and you don't want them to see or use the account balance, you have to sign up for the pack using the “New account” option. This way, your child will only see the balance of this new account, and the previous account will only be controlled by you. You can also change the visibility from a branch.

The relationship required to open an imaginTeens account is to be the minor's legal guardian.
