How does reverse factoring work?

  1. The company (the customer) opens a reverse factoring line.
  2. The company receives an invoice from its supplier and submits it to the bank. 
  3. CaixaBank will notify the supplier of the invoices that its client has confirmed with us and that we are required to pay.
  4. The supplier decides whether to receive early payment (for a small fee) or wait until the invoice due date (payment at no cost, on the agreed date).

How do I sign up for the reverse factoring service?

If your company wants to offer reverse factoring to your suppliers

  1. Contact your business adviser at CaixaBank or visit your usual branch and request the reverse factoring service.
  2. We'll evaluate your situation, and if approved, you will sign a reverse factoring contract.
  3. Once active, you will be able to send payment orders to your suppliers and manage everything from your digital banking.

Depending on the type of reverse factoring you signed up for, you will be able to finance payments as they fall due

If you are a supplier and one of your clients uses reverse factoring to pay you

If YOU ARE ALREADY a CaixaBank customer, log in to your online account with your username and password.

If YOU ARE NOT a CaixaBank customer, you need to register on the Confirming portal:

  • When your customer uses reverse factoring with you, CaixaBank will send you a notification with a welcome code. and the steps to access the Confirming portal.
  • Once registered, you will be able to advance the collection of invoices.

What is reverse factoring?

Reverse factoring is a service CaixaBank offers to companies to help them manage their payments to suppliers.

The bank notifies suppliers that they have a pending payment order and offers them the option to receive payment early if they wish, without the need for banking paperwork and with no risk of default (non-recourse).

Can I benefit from reverse factoring if I don't operate in Spain?

Yes, you can benefit from reverse factoring whether you operate in Spain or abroad.

Plus, you can get paid in the currency of your choice (EUR, AUD, CHF, CNY, GBP, USD).

The exchange rate applied at the time of payment is subject to fluctuations according to market prices.

Where can I see the invoice details?

You can see the details in:

  • The invoice you yourself issued to your customer.
  • The payment notification that CaixaBank sends you, which also details the invoice information.

What phone number should I provide?

You can provide the phone number of the department in your company that is responsible for managing the collection of invoices. This way we can easily contact you if we need to.

What e-mail address should I provide?

You will be able to provide an email address so that we can contact you as quickly as possible if necessary, as well as to inform you more efficiently if your customer sends us new invoices.

I've forgotten my PIN, how can I recover it?

You can recover your PIN from the Reverse Factoring portal, which contains shortcuts to reset passwords.

What can I do online at CaixaBankNow?
