This process only applies to users of certain nationalities/countries of residence who are not residents of Spain*. If you live in Spain, go to the registration process for residents. To register, you will need:

• A good internet connection
• Your personal data: name, address, tax identification number (TIN), etc.
• Your country's identity document or passport.
• You must provide documentation that certifies your economic activity (depending on the country).
  • Documentation necessary for employment
  • Documentation necessary for self-employment.

* Nationals and residents of one of these countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Ireland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom. Or a Spanish national living in one of these countries. 

If you are going to validate your identity document using the video process:

• Make sure you are in a well-lit place and have a good connection.
• Follow the instructions carefully:

1. Show the front of your document.
2. Tilt and move the front so that the security features are visible.
3. Show the back of your document.
4. Say out loud the code that will be shown on the screen.
5. Smile for the camera!

If you are trying to upload an image of your identity document, consult the recommendations for uploading the image to make sure that we can validate your documentation.

If you completed the form less than 48 hours ago, you will receive an email informing you of the next steps.

If it was over 48 hours ago and we haven't contacted you yet:

• Check your spam folder
• Email us at [email protected] to confirm that the email you provided in the application is correct.

You must visit a CaixaBank branch to verify your identity (they will re-scan your ID card or passport) within 6 months. If you don't, your contracts will be cancelled. If you have assets in your account, your account will be blocked.
